About the Aluminium Slab Formwork System
BLC Aluminium Slab Formwork consists of lightweight aluminium panels, beams and telescopic props with drop heads. Thanks to the drop head, panels and beams are stripped early and moved to the next pour while the props remain in place, reducing the amount of formwork needed and shortening cycle times.
Key features
- Lightweight aluminium panels handled manually
- Early stripping with drop head
- Slab edge guardrails and steel wire fixing
- Few parts, fast assembly

- Drop heads are bolted to the telescopic props with M10 bolts and secured with the locking part.
- The first bay is formed by connecting four props with prop connection beams.
- Aluminium beams are set on the drop heads and the props are levelled.
- Aluminium panels are laid on the beams.
- Using the first bay as reference, new props are set up with tripods at approx. 150 cm spacing.
- Each new row is completed with beams and panels in the same way.
- When the slab is complete, gaps perpendicular to the beams are closed with infill profiles.
- After setting, the drop head is released; beams and panels are stripped while the props stay in place.
